Here is another example of brickwork damaged by plastic plugs. Four fixings like this were supporting the 80cm dish. Is it really too much trouble to tape the cables neatly to the dish support, then clip them to the wall? Loose cables will swing in the wind and then the inner cores will break.

The attempt to waterproof the LNB connections is pathetic, and the bolt that secures the LNB is missing. Yes, the nut is there, but there is no bolt. The LNB is free to rotate, so it is not possible to set the polarisation offset. This dish was installed by a large company with a massive Yellow Pages advert, in which they make all the usual claims about being ‘expert installers’.
