Wright's Aerials

Rogues Gallery

The aerial manufacturer is the rogue in this case, with the installer probably ignorant of the problem. I say that because many installers of cheap aerials don’t understand the fundamentals of how aerials work. Proof of this is the fact that they commonly assemble DAB aerials with the elements in the wrong order. But I digress. Some manufacturers use the same size reflector for aerials of all channel groups. This means that the reflector is so undersized for a Group A aerial that on the lower channels it simply doesn’t function. The aerial has no proper directivity and very poor gain on channels 21 and 22.
